George Alissandratos was a guest on the USLawEssentials Law & Language Podcast hosted by Stephen Horowitz, the Director of Online Legal English Programs at Georgetown University Law Center. The podcast aims to help people, especially those who do not speak English as a first language, improve their English and better understand United States law and American legal culture. This episode continued the podcast’s series of interviews with multilingual lawyers. George, who is fluent in Greek and English, shared his perspectives as an attorney who passed the bar in the midst of a pandemic, and his insights on the challenges and opportunities that young attorneys and law students will embrace, especially those feeling discouraged.
