Keane & Beane, P.C. is seeking highly motivated, dynamic associate attorneys with several years’ experience practicing law with a focus on labor/employment law and/or school law, including litigation. The position is in our growing Melville, NY office, which has been recognized in Best Law Firms in the areas of Employment Law – Management, Labor Law – Management, Litigation – Labor and Employment, and Education Law. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation skills; excellent research, writing and analytical skills; the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a law firm setting; as well as exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to engage with court personnel, clients, colleagues and opposing counsel. Labor /Employment Law Associate responsibilities include working on arbitrations, collective bargaining negotiations, advising on labor and employment-related statutes and related federal and State court litigation. School Law Associate Responsibilities include representing school districts and other educational entities in daily advice, student discipline and special education matters, contracts, bidding; etc. Must be admitted to the New York bar at the time of hire.
