Keane & Beane associate Suzanne E. Volpe has been elected to serve as Trustee of the Mamaroneck Public Library. She will begin her three-year term effective June 1, 2020.
The Mamaroneck Public Library, located in the Village of Mamaroneck, New York, is a public library tax district and a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Mamaroneck Library opened its doors to the public in a small store at 48 West Boston Post Road on January 2, 1923. A community reading room established during the Civil War preceded the establishment of a true community library. In 1927, the Library moved to its present location at 136 Prospect Avenue. The Mamaroneck Public Library District was chartered on May 22, 1992.
