Keane & Beane P.C. was successful in its representation of BMR-Ardsley Partners, LLC (“BioMed Realty”) in regard to an Amended Site Plan Approval and the Subdivision of approximately 42 acres located in the Town of Greenburgh. The subdivision created three lots consisting of 16.3 acres, 9.4 acres and 17.1 acres. The site was previously occupied by Ciba Geigy, and now occupied in part by Acorda, a biotechnology company whose mission is to develop and market therapies that restore neurological functions. The purpose of the subdivision was to realign the lot configuration so as to allow for the marketing with respect to two of the lots for future economic development. In addition, Amended Site Plan Approval was granted in connection with the one lot on which structures remain, other structures having been removed from the balance of the property. These approvals provide economic opportunities for future development of high quality commercial uses.
