On January 29, 2025, Jennifer Gray presented at the Westchester Women’s Bar Association Environmental & Land Use Committee’s CLE webinar Implications of the Loper Decision and the Overturning of Chevron Deference. The presentation provided guidance on the potential impact of the Supreme Court Decision that overturned the deference of regulatory agencies to interpretation of federal legislation known as “Chevron Deference”.
Jennifer Gray’s practice is devoted to the areas of planning and zoning, and litigation pertaining to land use, municipal and real estate matters. She represents property owners and developers throughout the Hudson Valley in connection with applications seeking land use and zoning entitlements and serves as counsel to several local planning and zoning boards where she advises the boards on various issues related to compliance with state and local procedural requirements, and compliance with New York SEQRA. Ms. Gray’s litigation experience includes challenges to land use determinations of municipal boards, including matters related to SEQRA compliance, and other matters pertaining to real property such as adverse possession, easements and title issues.
