On September 22, 2022, Lance H. Klein will present a labor discussion at the Mid-Hudson Association of Chiefs of Police quarterly meeting. The presentation will give an overview of various labor topics, including Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPO), social media issues, body cams, liability concerns, and other hot-button issues.
Mr. Klein provides counsel and training to clients in a wide array of labor and employment issues, including disability, retirement, wage and hour laws, regulations under the Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as the defense of police misconduct, excessive force, malicious prosecution and false arrest on behalf of insurers and their insureds, and have conducted various employment related investigations including harassment and employee misconduct.
