William Kang has joined the Business Advisory Council of Project SEARCH Autism, an innovative program by NEXT For Austism. NEXT for AUTISM transforms the national landscape of services for people with autism by strategically designing, launching, and supporting innovative programs. The Project SEARCH Autism provides high-quality employment training to organizations, educational institutions, as well as young adults with autism to assist in gaining and maintaining meaningful employment.
William Kang provides General Counsel as well as Labor Counsel services to numerous public school districts in Westchester, Nassau, Suffolk and Rockland Counties, NY. He regularly handles school litigation matters in state court, appeals to the Commissioner of Education, employee disciplinary proceedings pursuant to the Education Law and Civil Service Law, and discrimination and/or retaliation claims before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and State Division of Human Rights.
