On November 18, 2020, Keane & Beane, P.C. will present Part II of their Fall Webinar Series “The Retention & Disposition Schedule for New York Local Government Records (LGS-1). Attorneys Suzanne E. Volpe and Amanda Magana will discuss “LGS-1”, the new Local Government Record Retention and Disposition Schedule issued by the New York State Archives. Schedule LGS-1 replaces four existing records retention schedules, including CO-2, MU-1 and ED-1. Local Governments, including school districts, municipalities and fire districts must adopt the new LGS-1 Schedule by January 1, 2021.
