Stephanie M. Roebuck will be assisting the Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association in its presentation of New York State Mandated Governance Training for school board members. The New York State Education Law requires all newly elected members of school boards to undergo a day-long training on governance issues. Required in that training is a legal overview of what school board members will encounter as they embark on this rewarding, yet complex, position.
Ms. Roebuck has presented the one hour and forty-five minute legal overview for the past five years. Keane & Beane, P.C. is proud of its relationship with the Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association, which provides advocacy on behalf of, and support to, the school districts in the two counties. This presentation is just one way in which the firm supports this important organization. The Mandated Governance Training is scheduled for September 14, 2019 at the Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES campus in Yorktown.
