On September 1, 2015, Keane & Beane, P.C. obtained a Decision, Order and Judgment from the Westchester County Supreme Court dismissing an Article 78 proceeding filed against the Mamaroneck Beach & Yacht Club (the “Club”) seeking to nullify Letters Patent issued by the New York State Office of Governmental Services to the Club in October 2014. The Letters Patent confirmed the Club’s ownership of a one-half acre of land that lies immediately adjacent to other land owned by the Club, which ownership was questioned by several vociferous neighboring property owners, who are and have been opposed to the Club’s proposed redevelopment plans. This is just the latest in a string of victories involving the Club over its opponents in the last ten years.
Eric Gordon, Esq. acted as lead counsel for the Club in this proceeding.
