On June 7, 2024 Keane & Beane Member Adam Ross will present on a panel at the Long Island LERA 2024 CLE Annual Conference. The panel entitled “Workplace Transformation and Return to Work Issues in 2024” addressing current issues affecting today’s modern workplace and the legal and practical considerations when dealing with them. Topics include, but are not limited to: ADA accommodations for disabled hybrid/remote workers; DEIA+ workforce strategies; implicit bias issues and how to address them; the 50th anniversary of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and more.
This annual conference covers important and current issues facing those involved in labor relations. Speakers and panelists are renown in their professions and each segment is moderated by a member of the LERA.
Adam Ross represents public employers in collective bargaining, contract arbitrations and proceedings before the Public Employment Relations Board and has significant experience in disciplinary proceedings pursuant to Civil Service Law Section 75, Education Law Section 3020-a and collective bargaining agreements. Mr. Ross regularly provides guidance on Taylor Law issues, contract interpretations, the Civil Service Law and its regulations, leave requests and harassment and discrimination claims.
