On March 19, 2024, Sharon N. Berlin will be participating on the faculty of the National Business Institute‘s (NBI) Program “New York Human Resource Law 2024”. This “Live On-Line” Program will provide best practices for navigating problems in the virtual workplace, drafting and updating policies, hiring and firing workers, and much more. Ms. Berlin will present Hiring and Firing: Legal Do’s and Don’ts for Crucial HR Functions. The NBI Program is a CLE accredited program and registration is required.
Ms. Berlin represents management in private and public sector labor and employment law matters. She provides day-to-day advice regarding all aspects of federal and state labor and employments laws, and conducts trainings for clients on topics including the prevention of sexual and other types of harassment and discrimination, employee performance issues, discipline and discharge procedures, procedures for conducting investigations, and accommodating employees with disabilities.
