Steven Schurkman Presents “To Probate or Not to Probate: When to Use a Will and When to Use a Trust”

on May 25, 2022, Steven Schurkman, as a participant of the legal panel, will present “To Probate or Not to Probate: When to Use a Will and When to Use a Trust” at the Alzheimer’s Association Meeting of the Minds Dementia Conference 2022.

The in-person Conference will be held at the Sleepy Hollow Conference Center beginning from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Registration is required.

Steven Schurkman has over 40 years experience in the practice of law, focusing in the areas of estate planning, probate, elder law, real estate and commercial transactions. He advises individuals and families concerning estate tax, asset preservation and business succession planning, as well as counseling individuals with disabilities and assists families with the establishment of supplemental needs trusts and guardianships. He also advises clients concerning the use of long term care insurance and reverse mortgages as well as on issues relating to hospital discharge, medical coverage, admission to skilled nursing facilities and Medicare and Medicaid home care services.
