On July 19, 2021, William Kang will present “Section 913 Exams: How to Effectively Use 913 Exams and the Interplay and/or Application of 913 to Civil Service Employees” at the 43rd Annual Summer Conference of the New York State Association of Management Advocates for School Labor Affairs (MASLA) in Saratoga Springs. Mr. Kang is a Member of the Board of Directors of MASLA.
Mr. Kang provides General Counsel as well as Labor Counsel services on behalf of Keane & Beane to numerous public school districts in Westchester, Nassau, Suffolk and Rockland Counties, NY. He regularly handles school litigation matters in state court, appeals to the Commissioner of Education, employee disciplinary proceedings pursuant to the Education Law and Civil Service Law, and discrimination and/or retaliation claims before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and State Division of Human Rights.
