Keane & Beane, P.C. is pleased to welcome our 2020 Summer Associates!
Ellie Sheinwald is a rising 3L at St. John’s University School of Law. She is the Articles & Notes Editor of the New York International Law Review, the Executive Director of the Public Interest Law Students Association, and a Co-President of the Jewish Law Students Association. Ellie holds two undergraduate degrees: one in Political Science from Columbia University and one in Modern Jewish Studies at the Jewish Theological Seminary.
Ashley Ward-Willis is a rising 2L at New York Law School where she is currently serving as the Secretary for the Legal Association for Women. Ashley is from Westchester, New York and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History from the University of Pittsburgh.
Ellie and Ashley have been working closely with a number of our attorneys to gain practical, hands-on experience across different practice areas. The use of Zoom and other “virtual” platforms for convening court appearances, depositions, public meetings and other matters due to COVID-19 concerns has facilitated their ability to observe and assist in the firm’s ongoing litigation work and engagements. Our summer internship program strives to provide meaningful learning opportunities and feedback to ensure a valuable work experience for our summer associates, even during a pandemic!
