On Tuesday, July 21, 2020, the New York State School Boards Association will be presenting a two and a half day live virtual state-wide seminar discussing the legal considerations for the reopening of schools (statewide or regionally). Keane & Beane Member Stephanie M. Roebuck will present on day 2 of the conference, discussing “New Title IX Regulations: Stricter Rules against Sex Discrimination in K-12 Schools – What Does it all Mean?”
The New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) is the statewide voice for the interests of public boards of education. NYSSBA serves more than 675 local school boards and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES), which represent more than 5,200 members – nearly half the elected officials in the state. NYSSBA provides information, training and advice on matters affecting school boards, and collaborates with other educational and related organizations to promote excellence in education for public school students.
