Happy 50th Earth Day From Keane & Beane, P.C.

In addition to 2020 being the 40^th anniversary of the founding of Keane & Beane, P.C., we wish everyone a Happy Earth Day, on the 50^th anniversary of Earth Day.  Environmental advocacy has been a core practice group for our firm since its founding.  Our colleague Joel Sachs was one of the first attorneys in the New York State Attorney General’s Office Environmental Law Bureau and served as its Deputy Chief and subsequently became the Chair of the NYSBA Environmental & Energy Law Section.  Our colleague Nicholas M. Ward-Willis is the current Vice-Chair of the Section and will be its Chair beginning June 2020.  Throughout the years, our firm and our Environmental Law Practice has advised public and private clients with respect to environmental laws and regulations from drafting wetland regulations, ensuring sustainable development, representing clients in environmental litigation, drafting solar panel local laws, being involved with converting landfill methane gas to energy and the remediation of hazardous waste sites and spill sites.  We wish everyone a Happy 50^th Anniversary of Earth Day and encourage you to reduce your carbon footprint.
