Mr. Kang regularly handles school litigation matters in state court, appeals to the Commissioner of Education, employee disciplinary proceedings pursuant to the Education Law and Civil Service Law, and discrimination and/or retaliation claims before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and State Division of Human Rights. Mr. Kang also represents school districts and other municipalities with regard to labor relations from negotiation of labor contracts for all types of bargaining units to arbitrations and improper practice proceedings.
