Nicholas M. Ward-Willis Speaks Before Westchester County Concussion Task Force

Nicholas M. Ward-Willis appeared before the Westchester County Concussion Task Force to discuss the health and safety initiatives that were undertaken by the Somers Youth Sports Organization during his tenure. Mr. Ward-Willis explained SYSO’s efforts to educate athletes, coaches and parents as to concussion training and CPR/ADD training. The County’s Task Force focused on including collaboration between school officials to better treat head injuries. The Task Force has published the 10 “Best Practices” for concussion awareness which was endorsed by the Brain Injury Association of America.
