On June 27, 2026, Stephanie Roebuck will present the legal portion of the Mandated Governance Training at the Education House in White Plains, New York to newly elected school board members in Westchester and Putnam counties who must complete NYS‑mandated governance training within their first year of service. The annual training is organized by the Westchester-Putnam School Board Association (WPSBA). New York State law requires all newly elected school board members to complete this training within their first year, covering governance essentials, legal duties, policy development, data use, and fiscal oversight.
