On May 31, 2026, Sharon Berlin will be presenting “Let it Ride” – Reasonable Accommodations for Employees at the New York State Association of School Attorneys‘ (“NYSASA”) 25th Annual Law Conference Boltons Landing, New York. The 25th Annual Conference “The Practice of School Law in 2026 – High Stakes Games and Winning Strategies” is a three-day CLE accredited program presented by some of the most prestigious school law attorneys from across the state. NYSASA provides School Law attorneys with training and up-to-date information on all aspects of education law, providing the best possible counsel to their school district clients to advance public education in New York, and serves as a resource for its members as well as school boards, school administrators, New York’s government, and the general public.
Sharon Berlin represents management in private and public sector labor and employment law matters, including investigations, disciplinary proceedings, arbitrations, collective bargaining, proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New York State Division of Human Rights, and in litigation in the federal and state courts. She provides day-to-day advice regarding all aspects of federal and state labor and employments laws and conducts trainings for clients on topics including the prevention of sexual and other types of harassment and discrimination, employee performance issues, discipline and discharge procedures, procedures for conducting investigations, and accommodating employees with disabilities. Ms. Berlin also serves as general counsel to school districts, private schools, and other educational entities.
