Sharon N. Berlin joined Keane & Beane, P.C. as a Member in 2024. She represents management in private and public sector labor and employment law matters, including investigations, disciplinary proceedings, arbitrations, collective bargaining, proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New York State Division of Human Rights, and in litigation in the federal and state courts. As part of this representation, Ms. Berlin provides day-to-day advice regarding all aspects of federal and state labor and employments laws, and conducts trainings for clients on topics including the prevention of sexual and other types of harassment and discrimination, employee performance issues, discipline and discharge procedures, procedures for conducting investigations, and accommodating employees with disabilities. Ms. Berlin also serves as general counsel to school districts, private schools, and other educational entities.
