Alyssa L. Zuckerman joined Keane & Beane, P.C. as a Member in 2024. Ms. Zuckerman’s practice focuses on representing employers in both the public and private sectors in labor, employment and education law matters. She has experience in public and private sector collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations, interest arbitrations, employee disciplinary proceedings, unemployment insurance hearings and matters before the New York State Public Employment Relations Board and the National Labor Relations Board.

Ms. Zuckerman provides day-to-day advice and trainings for her clients on a range of topics including, among others, employee use of leaves of absence; contract interpretation; employee performance and disciplinary issues; Taylor Law issues; social media use and management; and analyzing and responding to leave and accommodations requests.

Ms. Zuckerman also provides guidance on labor relations issues for unionized and non-union workplaces. Additionally, she assists employers with implementing in-person and remote staff training and preparing and updating employee handbooks to comply with the current legal requirements as well as best practices.
