Keane & Beane is pleased to report that the approvals for the expansion of the Landmark at Eastview campus have been secured. These will permit the construction of over 400,000 square feet of state-of-the art laboratory and related research space on the Mount Pleasant portion of the Landmark at Eastview premises. This is one of the largest expansion projects in the Hudson Valley in recent years, and will further efforts to attract biotech industries to Westchester County. Richard O’Rourke and Judson Siebert serve as counsel to the property owner and applicant, Biomed Realty Trust. On September 13, 2011, the Mount Pleasant Town Board adopted zoning amendments permitting the project approvals. Resolutions granting site plan approval, steep slopes and wetlands permits were then adopted by the Mount Pleasant Planning Board on October 17, 2011.
