Congratulations to Drew Victoria Gamils on her recently appointed Executive Committee position of the Local and State Government Section of the New York State Bar Association. The Executive Committee determines the policies and activities of the Section, takes counsel with all committees of the Section, and has general management of the Section. The Local and State Government Section provides a forum for those attorneys, whether in the public or private sector engaged in dealing in any capacity with issues in local or state government law.
Ms. Gamils works with the firm’s municipal, environmental, land development-zoning and litigation practice groups. She provides general counsel services to municipalities in Westchester and Dutchess Counties regarding all aspects of municipal operations, including land use and zoning matters. Ms. Gamils also provides advice to private clients regarding land use applications and assists the firm’s public and private sector clients in complying with the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the New York City Watershed Regulations and other environmental regulatory requirements.
