On Tuesday November 27, 2018, Drew Gamils participated in a panel discussion for Pace University’s Environmental Policy Clinic run by John Cronin to discuss the impacts of road salting and ways to encourage the sustainable application of road salt by municipalities. The panel also addressed legal liability and public policy concerns in connection with road salting. Drew was one of three participants and was joined by Gerald Moerschell,P.E. Commissioner of Public Works for the Town of New Castle, and Jeffery Econom, P.E., Superintendent of Public Works for the Village of Pleasantville.
