Community Service

With its deep roots in the Hudson Valley, Keane & Beane as a whole and staff as individuals are deeply involved in a wide array of community organizations. For example:

  • We follow the example of our founder Edward F. Beane, who is deeply committed to community service. The Child Abuse Prevention Center of New York, Inc. has recognized Mr. Beane on several occasions for his many years on its Board and as its counsel. He has also been recognized as President of the Exchange Club of White Plains, a national service organization and for his service as a Director of The Community Synagogue, Rye, NY. Mr. Beane serves as a pro bono advocate in the Southern District of New York's pro se litigation program for labor and employment matters.
  • In 2011, Keane & Beane was pleased to be participate in the Westchester Green Business Challenge. The firm completed an online scorecard which evaluated its current overall environmental footprint and implemented policies to assist it in becoming “greener.”
