Together with members and other associates in the firm, Jaclyn Bernstein serves as General Counsel to numerous public school districts in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland and Nassau Counties, NY. Ms. Bernstein provides advice to boards of education and school district administrators regarding all aspects of school district operations. She represents school districts in litigation before administrative tribunals and federal and state courts, as well as in appeals to the Commissioner of Education. Ms. Bernstein handles student disciplinary matters and investigations of employee or student misconduct. Ms. Bernstein joined the firm in 2010 with prior experience representing public school districts.
