Eric Gordon represents businesses, developers, individuals, property managers and public entities in numerous matters in state and federal courts, both defending and prosecuting litigations.Mr. Gordon has successfully defended corporations and municipalities in discrimination and retaliation claims brought under Federal Civil Rights statutes (e.g., 42 U.S.C. 1983, Title VII and Title IX). He has represented both municipalities and private clients seeking to enforce rights under the New York State Eminent Domain Procedure Law. Mr. Gordon has prepared and presented applications to municipal boards throughout Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Dutchess Counties, NY related to land use and real estate development projects. He has also prosecuted and opposed Article 78 proceedings in New York State trial and appellate courts.
Mr. Gordon joined Keane & Beane, P.C. in 1999 after previously practicing law in California. After graduating from law school, Mr. Gordon was a law clerk for over two years in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California for the Honorable Barry Ted Moskowitz, who was a United States Magistrate Judge and then a United States District Judge.

Mr. Gordon is a frequent lecturer at Pace University School of Law on litigation procedures and labor and employment matters.

Community Service
Mr. Gordon is a Member of the Board of Directors of Legal Services of the Hudson Valley. He oversees many of the firm’s pro bono cases. He is also a Coach in the Armonk Little League and a District Leader of the North Castle Democratic Committee.
