Professional Experience

Christopher Aventuro handles all aspects of Surrogate’s Court litigation (including will contests, accounting proceedings and various miscellaneous proceedings), estate litigation and administration and contested guardianships.  He is representing the Westchester County Public Administrator in a Surrogate’s Court proceeding.  He also represents clients in elder care planning (including asset transfers, preparation of wills, trust and advance directives), estate planning, estate administration (including preparation of estate tax returns), Medicaid planning and general litigation.  Mr. Aventuro joined Keane & Beane, P.C. in 2008 with several years of experience handling Surrogate’s Court litigation. 

Awards/Recognition

Mr. Aventuro was recognized by Suffield Academy, Suffield, Connecticut (member of class of 1983) for developing a planned giving program.

Professional Activities/Publications

Mr. Aventuro has lectured on trusts & estates, planned giving, elder law and accountings for Lorman Educational Services, Suffield Academy and Our Lady of Sorrows Senior Group. 

Community Service

Mr. Aventuro is an active participant with Swim Across America.  He also served as a coach for the White Plains Youth Lacrosse League from 2007-2010
