Lawrence Praga joined Keane & Beane, P.C. as a Member in 1993. His primary practice areas include education law, construction law and zoning and land use law. He also has a substantial municipal practice, having served as First Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Binghamton, New York from 1979-1984 and as full-time Town Attorney for the Town of Yorktown, New York from 1984-1986. Since 1991, he has served as Planning Board attorney for the Town of Lewisboro, New York and as special counsel to a number of other municipalities in New York. Together with other members and associates in the firm, Mr. Praga acts as general counsel to numerous public school districts in the Hudson Valley and has acted as chief spokesperson in collective bargaining negotiations. Mr. Praga is construction counsel to school districts, as well as to other public entities. He also has served as an adjunct professor at Broome Community College, teaching law-related courses.
Mr. Praga is admitted to practice before state and federal courts in New York.
