Donna E. Frosco joined Keane & Beane, P.C. in 1993. Her practice encompasses business transactions, environmental law, construction law and litigation. Additionally, Ms. Frosco founded the intellectual property and internet practice at Keane & Beane, P.C.
Ms. Frosco regularly represents clients regarding the registration and protection of copyrights and trademarks and in litigation concerning infringement of intellectual property rights. She counsels both private corporations and public entities concerning the adoption of Internet and technology use policies, as well as website terms of use and content protection. She also assists clients in business transactions relating to licensing, trade secret protection and non-competition, as well as various issues particular to companies and personnel in technology and “e-business” industries and the arts.
Ms. Frosco has represented clients in complex federal litigation, including several cases of first impression, as well as transactions and workouts. Her matters often involve work with expert witnesses and consultants in diverse areas ranging from the arts to technologies such as hydrogeology, environmental engineering and radio frequency engineering. She also represents clients in all phases of private construction projects including negotiation, contract preparation, mechanic's lien issues and arbitration and she serves as general counsel to a major New York contractor specializing in renovation and historical restorations.
Prior to joining Keane & Beane, P.C., Ms. Frosco practiced in San Francisco, California and worked in the Office of the District Attorney of Rockland County, New York. She is a certificate recipient from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. As a law student, Ms. Frosco clerked for the United States Department of Justice as an Attorney General's Honors Intern.
Ms. Frosco is admitted to practice in federal and state courts in California, New Jersey, New York and Washington, D.C., as well as before the United States Supreme Court.
