Professional Biography

Stephanie M. Roebuck joined Keane & Beane, P.C. in 1998 after practicing in the Rochester office of Harris, Beach, LLP.  She practices in the areas of education law, labor relations and employment law.  Ms. Roebuck serves as general counsel to numerous school districts in Westchester County, and represents municipalities with regard to labor relations.

Ms. Roebuck is Co-Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the New York State Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section.  Additionally, she was the first Co-Chair of the Education Law Committee of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York.  She served as an adjunct professor at Fordham University School of Graduate Education, teaching a class in school law.  Ms. Roebuck has presented on various panels through the New York State Bar Association and other organizations in the subject areas of public sector labor relations and school law.  Ms. Roebuck is a former member of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of the Hudson Valley.  She also is the Community Outreach Co-Chair of the Westchester Women's Bar Association, which annually coordinates Law Day programs in the Southern District of New York's White Plains Courthouse and in two local courts in Westchester.  Ms. Roebuck is a member of the New York State Council of School Attorneys.
